Piano and guitar teachers are trained yearly and given on-going monthly support. Each piano
and guitar teacher has a degree in music and is actively involved in performance opportunities.

Jennifer Hickle

Jennifer has taught piano lessons for 12 years. She is the Administrator and owner of
Signature School of Music and Signature Studios. Jennifer enjoys staying home and
homeschooling her four children: Ethan, 7, Elias, 5, Abigail, 3, and Lydia, born January '08!
Jennifer loves teaching children and specializes in creativity in learning and having FUN in
the process! She is trained and experienced in teaching children through advanced high
school students, as well as adults.

Bio: André has been teaching piano for nine years and has been with SSM since fall of
2003. He recently began teaching beginner and intermediate guitar lessons as well. André
and his wife Lora have been married two years and have added baby Josiah to their family in
May of 2007! André enjoys teaching students of all ages and levels of experience, and can
teach both traditional and improvisational music styles.

encourage them to push themselves to new levels while enjoying the journey.

has experience teaching children as young as 4, as well as adults. She has high

Bio: Linda graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music Education. She has taught music
and directed musicals in grades K-12 in public schools, the local church and in Christian
school for over 30 years. She has also taught private piano and voice lessons. She loves to
teach children the joy of music, while always maintaining a high standard of excellence. Her
desire is to now offer her love of teaching and directing to the Home School community.
Linda has been married to her husband, Tim, for 32 years. They met while preforming the
Broadway musical, "You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown." They played the parts of Lucy and
Linus and that began a love for each other and acting and directing musicals together ever
since! Tim was a theatre major at Iowa State University and acted in many major
productions. After college, he entered the business world, while continuing his passion for
acting and directing with wife, Linda! He is known for bringing out the very best in every
student or adult actor he works with!

Bio: Elizabeth Smith is a licensed MusikGarten teacher, a Children’s Pastor at HighPoint
Church, and a Mom of two young children, Samuel and Serenity! She has experience teaching
in a variety of settings: Christian School, Fitness Studios, and the local church. She is full of
energy and creativity and absolutely loves kids of ALL ages! Elizabeth loves to sing and
harmonize with her very talented husband, Jordan.

Bio: Troy has been playing guitar for 10 years and teaching for 3 years. He has toured
nationally and internationally with various music groups and loves to inspire others to pursue
their goals. He loves to teach not only guitar, but also music as a broader concept to help
students understand the music they hear everyday. Troy teaches acoustic and electric guitar
to students from ages 10 to adult at any level of experience. Troy will be graduating with a
bachelors degree in Recording Arts and plans to get married in the spring.
