Class Descriptions
Music and Theater: Pirates, the Musical!
Ages 6-13 will build confidence in their acting and music skills while preparing for a full-fledged musical production, complete with costumes,
props, set, and lighting! Mrs. Linda Lindeen, equipped with 30 years of experience, will teach students proper breathing and vocal techniques
and basic music theory while they learn songs and choreography for their musical production at the end of the session! All students will be
given a solo or an acting part. Specialist drama instructor, Mr. Tim Lindeen, will work with students in small groups. Our productions will not
always be evangelical in nature, but will always be of the highest standards in morals, language, and modesty. Parents will be given an
opportunity to volunteer to help with set design, obtaining costumes and props, etc. Our Music and Theatre class is a drama workshop, voice
lessons, and theatre production all wrapped into one!
Tuition: $120 for 1st student, $100 for siblings in Music and Theater (plus book/CD fee per family, $10)
Instructor: Linda Lindeen
Musikgarten is an amazing program to introduce young children (2-5 years) to a love of music! Your children will love Mrs. Beth as she
teaches them simple vocalizations with pint-sized instruments, fun dance movements, and stories about nature and the world! Children will
benefit from music and movement while having fun at the same time! The curriculum is specially designed for this precious age group to have
a gentle, positive introduction to the world of music! All age groups will be able to enjoy all their songs at home with our amazing Family
Materials and CDs! Parents will be invited to sign up for one class per semester to be a room helper and experience the class with their child!
Sign up will be available at Orientation (siblings can visit, too!). More about Musikgarten.
Tuition: $70 per semester for 1st student, $60 for siblings in Musikgarten
Instructor: Elizabeth Smith

What Parents are Saying:
"I was so impressed with Mrs. Lindeen's directing of the play my children were in! She brought the love that she has for music and theater to them in a way they
could see it and love it just as much. My children can't wait to participate in another musical! I couldn't believe how great they did on stage performing! They
really impressed me! I thought they would be too shy or quiet, but Mrs. Lindeen's positive influence and belief in them made it happen in a big way! So
neat...can't wait to see them in another one and watch them grow even more! Thank you Signature Music Studios, for giving my children this opportunity!"
-Laura M.
"Bradon really enjoyed both art and music at Signature. I was impressed with the experience of both his instructors and the small class sizes. Bradon met a lot
of really nice children who were being homeschooled also. I asked Bradon what he liked most and he said "My teachers are so happy and nice." We definitely
plan to continue in 2010. Thank you so much!" -Monica G.
"We have been so blessed by your program! Both of our boys have benefited in different ways. Landon has been able to grow in memorization and drama
knowledge. His self confidence and determination to succeed have taken a step forward. He feels like part of a team and has a desire to do his best He wakes
up on Wednesday morning early to practice whatever he was to focus on, so he can surprise the teacher with his progress. He is so excited to be on stage and
minister to others.
Lane has matured to the next level socially. He has been accepted for who he is and been able to express himself through body movement and singing. When
he goes to bed at night, I hear him going through all of the songs and poems Mrs. Beth taught in class, he even says exactly what she says before and after
each song (which is usually some very positive comment). He has gained confidence in communicating and making friends. Mrs. Beth has been amazing; she
takes time to connect with each child and look them in the eyes. Lane really feels special and loved. Thank you so much for making an eternal difference with
Lane--he looks forward to seeing Mrs. Beth every Wednesday." -LeAnn L.
